Start with the business, users and present constraints. We explore requirements, integrations and unknowns, then establish scope, priorities, responsibilities and reviewable milestones. Substantial assessments can become a paid discovery phase.
We agree communication channels, repositories, environments and release responsibilities. Development progresses through bounded increments, with demonstrations and staging builds. Decisions and changes remain visible rather than disappearing into a long development cycle.
AI can assist research, implementation, refactoring, tests and documentation. Human engineers retain responsibility for architecture, business logic, review, security and release decisions. Customer information is not automatically sent to AI providers.
Validation matches the product’s risks: code review, functional checks, API tests, regression and production-readiness checks where appropriate. We plan deployments and migrations, validate the release and document operational knowledge.
A monthly engineering partnership preserves context after the first release. We agree capacity, priorities, support boundaries and escalation. Maintenance, new features, automation and architecture improvements become part of a continuing product roadmap.
